Character Clue Post: Patience

Patience vs. Restlessness
Accepting a difficult situation from God without giving Him a deadline to remove it.

Patience is a good thing to have in a bad time and the bad time is good thing, too. The reason that a bad time is a good thing, is because God is trying to build up the character of Christ in you, and the character clue that talks about this is reverence: Reverence vs. Disrespect: Awareness of how God is working through the people and events in my life to produce the character of Christ in me. Here is a story of how it is used and how it is not used:

Once upon a time there were two young Christian men, one's name was Bob and the other Fred. They both wanted to be something that works for Christ, like a missionary, but they have to have a good testimony to say in the church, a reason they want to become one to be one. They both had a bad situation, for Bob had family problems by his parents were angry at him same with Fred. Bob kept it, but Fred was impatient and prayed that God would take the arguments away, and He did. Bob made his speech and said it and everyone liked it. Fred said his and nobody clapped for him. The pastor went up to the stage and whispered in his ear,"I am very sorry, but... ...you... didn't... make... !" The pastor did not finish his sentence because Fred was weeping and was running to the exit, for he knew what he was saying, he was saying that he is not going to be a missionary, but Bob did.

You see don't get rid of the bad situation that will help you with your character of Christ in you because then your character will be not be strong. Well, I hope you use patience to help you in your life.

Character Clue Blog: Responsibility

Responsibility vs. Unreliability
Knowing and doing what both God and other are expecting from me.

Responsibility is like doing a duty without messing up or slacking off. Here is a example story of it:
Once upon a time there were two guards who were guarding the king for any enemy assasins. Both of them became hungry and one went off to go eat something, but the other stayed there and faced the stage of hunger and starvation. But when the king found this out he awarded the guard who stayed, but said to the other guard," Never make this mistake ever again." Then the next night, both guards were tired and one fell asleep (of course it was the one who made mistakes, let us call him guard 2 and the other, guard 2), but guard 1 stayed awake. During the the night, the enemy sent assasins, and guard 1 fought them off and saved the king. And then when the king found this out he gave guard 1 a day off to rest, but for guard 2, he became exacuted for his mistake.
In this story, who would you want to be? You would probaly choose guard 1 would you, probaly because he was the good example, but you would probaly not want to be guard 2 because he was the bad example of this story. So which example should you put in your life? Of course the good example and that would be responsibility, but the bad example would be unreliability. The king stand for others and God. So I hope that you use the good example in your life.

Our New President: Barack Obama

Well, Obama won the presidential debate against McCain, and this post is about the good things about Obama, so here it is:

What are some good things about Obama? The good things about Obama is that he voted some good things like, well, he
seem to care about the needs of others, he also was a graduate of Harvard School of Law. And he is very good in encouraging people to donate time and money in his campaign in the last election. People seemed to be attracted to his eloquent speeches.

Here is an outline of it:

I. Cares about the needs of people.

a. It is a good thing for the some people who need money.

b. Well, only democrats do this so everyone can have the same amount of money, the opposite of this would be the republican way where every one has to work hard for the money, but if they don’t work hard they won’t get the much money.

II. Well I can’t really tell about the Harvard University so I won’t make an outline about it.

III. People donated money and time to his campaign to the last election, probably because :

a. He was the first African American candidate in the U.S.

b. He was probably attractive to some people.

IV. His speeches.

a. People liked his speeches.

b. To some people the way he said it was pretty attractive.

V. And that was all I could think of.
